Not one of them is a story about
two people who are living on their
own in Stockholm. They remember
their child-hoods in the Finnish countryside, while they are trying
to understand how they ended up
so lonely. In the film, that is shot on
8 millimeter, they go back during
summertime, to the old deserted
houses that they grew up in. As
their paralell stories unfold, we
understand more and more about
the nature of estrangement.
