Feminism and weapons on export
is a 50 minutes essay film from 2017,
on hyper-masculinity, cold war patriar-chal paranoia, state gender roles, milit-
arism, rearmament, how war produces
gender and Sweden's contemporary
feminist foreign policy in relation to
the country's high arms export. The
story starts with my own experience of
growing up in a militarized zone dur-
ing thelast years of the cold war 1975
-1990. The video work builds on an
article published in Ordfront Magasin
